Waitomo Cave Tubing Adventure

Black Labyrinth is Waitomo's original and amazing underground cave tubing experience that is known and talked about all around the world.

Over three hours you'll work your way through tight squeezes, take leaps of faith over cascading underground waterfalls and float serenely down river as you enjoy the glowworm show on the vaulted limestone galleries up above.

Your journey concludes when you emerge into the sunlight of the Waitomo forest.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Allow 3 hours
  • Beginner level
  • You must be 12 years and 45kg +
  • Need swimwear and towel
  • Water temperature 10-14 C
  • Wetsuits and footwear provided
  • 12 people per tour maximum.

  • 9.00am, 10.30am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm, 3.00pm. Allow 3 hours

TOUR DETAILS

To complete the Black Labyrinth cave tubing tour requires a moderate level of fitness. Minimum age restrictions apply. All equipment is provided, including footwear, tubes, wetsuits, helmets, abseiling devices and safety equipment. Just bring yourself, your swimwear, a towel and a thirst for adventure.

At the end of the expedition, enjoy a hot shower and complimentary hot soup and a bagel. Tour includes free admission to the Waitomo Museum of Caves.
