Guided since the late 1880s, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves is an iconic New Zealand attraction.

About the Caves

Under the rolling hills of Waitomo lies a labyrinth of caves, sinkholes, and underground rivers. The Waitomo Caves are famous for their abundance of glowworms, extensive underground river systems, and stunning stalactites and stalagmites formations. The Waitomo Caves will transport you to another world.
